Tottenham Hotspur have this afternoon been dealt a concerning blow on the personnel front, during the club’s meeting with Norwich City.
Lucas on target
Antonio Conte’s men are of course locked in action at present.
After getting things back on track under the watch of their new boss courtesy of a 2-0 downing of Brentford in midweek, the Lilywhites welcomed relegation-battling Norwich to north London, for their latest Premier League outing.
And, as things stand on Sunday, the clash is developing largely as expected.
Spurs currently lead by a goal to nil, after the on-song Lucas Moura rattled home a wonderful long-range effort, following some clever work between the Brazilian and Heung-min Son.

The skill, the one-two, the shot. Everything about this goal is just class!

Reggy blow
As outlined above, however, an otherwise positive opening to proceedings for this afternoon’s hosts has been soured to at least some degree by a blow on the personnel front.
The concern in question was forthcoming inside 25 minutes, as Sergio Reguilon, already a key figure in Antonio Conte’s setup, was forced to limp out of the action for youngster Ryan Sessegnon.

Reguilon’s absence for the remainder of this afternoon’s clash means that Tottenham will be forced to navigate the 2nd-half without either of their first-choice wing-back options.
This comes after Emerson Royal was too forced to sit out the capital showdown, owing to a bout of illness:

When it comes to matters on the Fantasy Premier League front, meanwhile, the heavily-transferred in Reguilon becomes just the latest high-profile star to succumb to something of a nightmare gameweek, alongside the likes of Ivan Toney and, potentially, Emile Smith Rowe.
