Your Championship nominees for November are…
Ben Brereton-Diaz is enjoying the best start to a season of his career and another four goals arrived in November for the Chilean international.
His goals came against Sheffield United, Bristol City and a brace in the 4-0 win over Peterborough United.
Aleksandar Mitrovic won the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award in September and October, and now has the opportunity to make it a treble after more fine displays.
The Serb claimed three goals and two assists in November, and only failed to score in one game for Fulham. He also scored the goal that took Serbia through to the World Cup at the expense of Portugal, making it a month to remember for the 27-year-old.
Lewis Grabban has played a big part in Nottingham Forest’s revival under Steve Cooper, and he bagged three goals in four games during November for the Tricky Trees.
Grabban, who is now captaining the side, scored in the draw against Sheffield United, before notching an impressive brace in the 3-0 win over Preston at the Forest Ground.
Things may be pretty difficult off the field for Derby at the moment, but Tom Lawrence is proof that Wayne Rooney’s side are not prepared to go down without a fight.
The Rams skipper had a very good November, highlighted by an excellent brace in the 3-2 win over promotion chasing Bournemouth at Pride Park.
Clean sheets: 3
On loan from Chelsea, Nathan Baxter has only just been brought into Hull City’s side – and he certainly has not disappointed.
The 23-year-old was on the bench at the start of the month as his lost at West Brom, but came into the side to keep three successive clean sheets. Even the goal he did concede against Millwall at the end of the month came in a 2-1 win for Hull, as the Tigers won every game he played in.
While Baxter was keeping clean sheets at one end, George Honeyman was keeping things ticking over for Hull at the other.
The former Sunderland man played a huge part in their run of four successive wins, grabbing goals in the wins over Barnsley, Birmingham and Millwall, as well as setting up two others.
