Oliver Skipp impressing
Oliver Skipp returned to north London over the summer after an impressive loan stint with the then-Championship outfit, Norwich City.
Despite his limited Premier League experience, Skipp would be thrust straight into the Tottenham starting line-up by Nuno Espirito Santo at the start of the season.
Skipp would impress in the opening three league games of the season, but, much like Spurs as a club, struggled in the following weeks.
Antonio Conte has since arrived at the club and has begun to show the same faith in Skipp as Nuno previously had.
Skipp started in and shone during the Lilywhites’ 2-0 win over Brentford on Thursday last week.
The Englishman was then a standout player on Sunday, controlling the midfield as Spurs strolled to a 3-0 win over Norwich.

Skipp responds to Conte praise
Following the Brentford game, Conte is reported to have told football.london that if Skipp continues to improve, then it is in his hands to become a ‘top midfielder’ in the game.
Now, Skipp has since responded to these claims after he put on another stellar showing in gameweek 15.
Skipp would state that, whilst it is nice to hear such comments, he needs to go out and prove it:
“It is always nice to hear that but I have to go out and prove it, otherwise it is just words and there is no point.
“I feel that there has definitely been a lot of improvement. I need to keep working and keep doing the things that I am doing and keep making those improvements. Hopefully that happens but I know that it is a lot of hard work before that does.”
