Rangnick takes charge of Manchester United
Manchester United wasted little time in finding a replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The club confirmed last week that Ralf Rangnick, known by most for his impressive work with the Red Bull clubs (Leipzig and Salzburg), is set to become their interim manager for the remainder of this season and will then transition into a consultancy role for another two years.
Rangnick has since taken charge of his first game as Manchester United manager, seeing off Crystal Palace by one goal to nil.

And, on Wednesday, the German will be in charge of his first Champions League game as United manager.
The Red Devils will take on Young Boys in a tie they need to win to ensure they take top spot in their group.
Ralf Rangnick to look for another Premier League job?
And whilst Rangnick, as confirmed above by Man United themselves, is expected to stay on at United in some form of consultancy role beyond this campaign, a report on Tuesday is seemingly casting doubt over this.
Eurosport have reported that:
Ralf Rangnick is expected to search for further managerial opportunities in the Premier League if his spell in charge at Manchester United is not extended beyond this season.
They add that sources close to Rangnick have suggested that he has a new desire for top-level coaching as he fully believes he is one of the best tacticians and coaches in the game.
So, though a consultancy role did appear to be on the cards, could we instead see Rangnick depart the club in every capacity following the 2021/22 season?
