Russell Wilson downsplays the trade rumors and commits to Seattle

It’s been a disappointing season for the Seattle Seahawks, especially for Russell Wilson. However, the city of Seattle is sleeping tight after Russell Wilson tore down the trade rumors.

According to multiple reports, Wilson has a contract clause that didn’t allow him to leave Seatle.

Although, he wanted to eliminate it to join the New York Giants, the Denver Broncos, or the New Orleans Saints.

Declaring his love to Seattle

“I love Seattle. This is a place I’ve loved every day, every moment,” said Wilson in a press conference. “Hopefully I get to play here for 20 years in my career.”

The Seahawks quarterback said that the rumors of his departure is a “non story.”

Russell Wilson, 33, is the best quarterback in the history of the Seattle Seahawks.

He won the only Super Bowl championship accomplished by the franchise and played two of the three Super Bowl games that the Seahawks have disputed.

For the first time in his career, Wilson lost three consecutive games as Seattle’s starting quarterback.

The Seahaws visit the Houston Texans, the dispute is scheduled to start at 1 pm ET.
