Manchester United are set to renew their efforts to sign Declan Rice from West Ham United this summer, and are reportedly preparing a 120 million euro bid for the midfielder’s services.
The Red Devils were unable to sign the 22-year-old last summer, but they are preparing to try again at the end of this season, having been given two major boosts.
According to ‘The Sun’, interim coach Ralf Ragnick has approved the deal to bring the England man to Old Trafford next summer.
Also, West Ham started the season in stunning form, but they struggled throughout December with two victories in eight matches in all competitions which saw them drop out of the top four.
Whilst they had established themselves in the top four prior to December, their form during that month has cast doubt over whether they will qualify for the Champions League, with United waiting to pounce and secure Rice’s services.
The Red Devils are therefore preparing a 120m bid, as they know that West Ham will be unwilling to accept anything less for their star man.
