The delayed 2021 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations kicks off in Cameroon on Sunday 9 January.
The competition features some of the world’s best players, including Liverpool pair Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, as well as Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, and is always well worth watching.

Things kick off in the early evening of Sunday 9 January when hosts Cameroon face Burkina Faso in Group A, followed by Ethiopia’s clash with Cape Verde later that night.
The likes of Senegal, Morocco, Ghana, Nigeria, Egypt, Algeria and Ivory Coast get their respective campaigns underway in the days that follow.
The group stage wraps up on Thursday 20 January, with the knockout stages to begin three days later. The final will be played in Yaounde on Sunday 6 February.

In the UK, Sky Sports have secured the live broadcast rights to all 52 live games. BBC will also be showing 10 live games free-to-air, including two quarter-finals, both semi-finals and the final, as well as making digital clips of the action available.
