Odds as of January 10th at FanDuel.
Cameron Johnson (ankle) has been ruled out for the Suns along with Justin Jackson (undisclosed), Abdel Nader (knee), Frank Kaminsky (knee) and Dario Saric (knee). Johnson is averaging 11.9 points a game.
Landry Shamet is probable after missing three games while in the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Ish Wainwright was placed in the protocols Monday.
For the Raptors, Scott Barnes (knee) and Gary Trent Jr. (ankle) are questionable. Barnes, who is averaging 14.7 points, was injured Sunday and Trent (16.4 ppg) missed that game.
Yuta Watanabe is not listed on the injury report after missing the last four games while in the protocols.
The Suns got three players back from the protocols Saturday but looked sluggish against the Heat. Phoenix shot 38.0% (30 of 79), was outrebounded 49-35 and had 15 turnovers.
Deandre Ayton returned after sitting out six games and had 12 points and eight rebounds. His 62.9 field goal percentage is sixth in the NBA.

Jae Crowder and JaVale McGee were also back in action. Yet they couldn’t keep the Heat from shooting 50.0% both overall (44 of 88) and three-pointers (22 of 44).
Devin Booker had 26 points and was a perfect 13 of 13 from the free throw line. It was the 21st 20-point game of the season for Booker, including his sixth in the last eight games.
Mikal Bridges made 8 of 11 field goal attempts on his way to 20 points and six rebounds. Bridges has scored at least 20 points in two of the last three games after reaching that mark just two other times all season.
He can also play defense.

Johnson scored 15 points and pulled down five rebounds before being injured.
Chris Paul had seven assists, ending a three-game streak of reaching double digits. Paul leads the league in assists with a 10.0 average.

VanVleet knocked down a season-high eight three-pointers. That continued perhaps the biggest hot streak of his six-year career.
Over his last eight games since Dec. 14, VanVleet has scored 31 or more points six times. He is averaging 30.6 points in that span while shooting 47.1% from the field and 45.6% from long distance.
Prior to Dec. 14, VanVleet had reached 30 points just twice in 26 games.
Siakam had a fine all-round game as he also finished with 10 rebounds and seven assists while draining all 10 free throws. Siakam notched his team-high eighth double-double of the season and scored at least 20 points for the sixth time in eight games.
However, Siakam says he is most proud of having five-or-more assists in a career-high seven games in a row. He is averaging 6.4 dimes a game during the streak.

The only other Raptors player to score in double figures was OG Anunoby with 12 points.
The Raptors shot 41.2% (14 of 34)) from distance and 95.0% (19 of 20) from the foul line. They outrebounded the Pelicans 46-35 and had a 24-6 advantage in second-chance points.
Suns vs Raptors Prediction
The Suns have won two games in a row against the Raptors after losing six straight. The teams are meeting for the first time this season. The Suns notched 104-100 road win March 26 in the last meeting.
Ayton had 19 points and nine rebounds for the Suns and Paul finished with 18 points and eight assists. For the Raptors, Siakam scored 26 points and Van Vleet added 22.
The Raptors are playing well and have been especially tough at home. Look for them to make it seven straight wins with a mild upset.
The Pick: Raptors ML (+150)
