Celtic predicted lineup vs Motherwell – Scottish Premiership

Celtic have already secured the title and can use Saturday’s visit of Motherwell to celebrate another successful season.

Ange Postecoglou’s men have wrestled the trophy away from Rangers, but Saturday’s visitors still have something to play for as they battle with Dundee United for fourth place in the Scottish Premiership.

Here’s how the boss could set up.

GK: Joe Hart – Has 18 clean sheets for the season and will be looking to make it 19.

RB: Anthony Ralston – Ralston grabbed the assist last time out against Dundee United and has played every minute of the past four games.

CB: Cameron Carter-Vickers – Talks are ongoing over a permanent move for Carter-Vickers, who has been excellent this year.

CB: Carl Starfelt – Starfelt’s partnership with Carter-Vickers has been key to Celtic’s success this year.

LB: Greg Taylor – A near-permanent fixture in the squad in 2022, it’d hard to picture a squad without Taylor.

CM: Tom Rogic – Has been forced to accept a reserve role in recent weeks but may get another chance to impress here.

CM: Callum McGregor – Captain McGregor should be the anchor at the base of Postecoglou’s midfield.

CM: Matt O’Riley – Young O’Riley is threatening to live up to his potential and will have some big goals for next season.

RW: Liel Abada – Another of those who has been on the fringes recently, Abada may expect a run-out.

ST: Georgios Giakoumakis – Giakoumakis needs a hat-trick if he wants to secure the league’s Golden Boot.

LW: Kyogo Furuhashi – Rested last time out, Furuhashi will likely get another start in this one.
