The Golden State Warriors have been buoyed by news that Stephen Curry will play in Game Four of the NBA Finals after avoiding serious injury.
Steve Kerr‘s side fell to defeat in Game Four, but their attention quickly turned to the health of their star player, who ended the game in discomfort after Al Horford fell on his left foot while fighting over a loose ball.
Curry emphatically stated after the game that he would be ready for Game Four, and that’s now been confirmed, with Shams Charania stating he won’t need an MRI.
The star took part in practice on Thursday as well, which is good news for the Warriors as they look to even the series after falling behind 2-1.
Losing Curry would have been a devastating blow for the team given his presence and shooting prowess are a constant threat for the Celtics defence.
