Conor McGregor recognizes a good tattoo when he sees one, and he showed his appreciation for a super-tattoo fan’s beneath her bra line.
Lucia Gomez, a Uruguayan woman, had the Irishman’s name tattooed on the side of her ribs.
Despite the sloppy font and the absence of a capital ‘G’ in his surname, UFC legend McGregor was impressed with what he saw from the self-proclaimed Notorious fan.
A fan account posted photos of Gomez in a black bra revealing the shady tattoo and another wearing a McGregor t-shirt in December.
When McGregor saw it, he reacted by posting a love-heart emoji in the comments section, despite the fact that he has a plethora of his own tattoos across his shredded body.
He also shared the photo on his own Instagram story, which he shared with his 44 million followers.
Fans show their love for athletes with tattoos
McGregor and a slew of other athletes have tattoos honoring them from adoring fans.
There have been plenty of good, bad, and ugly ones, ranging from a squashed Jamie Carragher to boxing artwork.
Last summer, an Italy supporter pulled off one of the most bizarre stunts. Giorgio Chiellini’s cynical tug on Bukayo Saka was part of the celebrations for the Euro 2020 victory.
McGregor has been sparring for the first time since breaking his leg in his last fight against Dustin Poirier in July, and is currently preparing for his UFC comeback.
He isn’t expected to fight again in the MMA octagon until the summer. When he does make a comeback, John Kavanagh, his coach, has suggested that the former two-division champion could return to welterweight.
