Kim Kardashian claims she did not damage Marilyn Monroe’s dress

In May, Kim Kardashian was one of the big stars of the Met Gala 2022 as she stood out by wearing a 1960s Marilyn Monroe dress.

However, the critics were very harsh on the model for her look, especially because, in order to wear it, the American went on a strict diet and, despite this, has been accused of damaging the dress, despite the owners saying otherwise.

“I showed up to the gala in a robe and slippers, and I put the dress on when I was at the bottom of the carpet and then walked up the stair,” Kardashian said in an interview with the ‘Today’ show.

“In all likelihood, I would have it on for three or four minutes and then I changed already at the top of the stairs.”

Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian‘s sister added that wearing the dress on the Met Gala red carpet was quite a process, which was not easy at all, but that they took the utmost care of the garment currently valued at 114,000 dollars.

“We worked hard to get the dress treated with gloves while they helped me put it on,” Kardashian explained on ‘Today’.

However, in ‘[email protected]’ her words have not convinced and the ‘La Sexta’ program recalled the publication of Scott Forner, a renowned collector, who claimed that the dress had suffered damage.

To prove his argument, Forner uploaded two photographs in which you could see the before and after of the Met Gala 2022.

That looked like a sausage

“And the photos we saw? With all the rhinestones fallen, unpicked…”, commented Alfonso Arus, who joined in with the criticism of Kardashian’s decision to wear the dress.

“It’s when you say ‘they gave it to me like that’ or like when you leave an apartment and say ‘I found it worse than how I left it’,” he said.

“That looked like a sausage, a sausage is made like that,” they joked about the moment when Kardashian was helped to get dressed.

In addition, they gave an example of what happened to rental cars, where companies usually take pictures to ensure that customers return them as they deliver them.
