The 2022-23 Carabao Cup semifinals will decide which two teams will meet at Wembley Stadium to decide who will succeed Liverpool as champions.

Liverpool, holders and most successful team in the history of the competition were knocked out in the Round of 16 this season, losing a thrilling game 3-2 at Manchester City.

The semifinals will take place over two legs as the final four battle to become the first winners of a major domestic trophy in England this season.

Carabao Cup fixtures schedule

The first legs of the semifinals will take place between Tuesday, January 24 and Wednesday, January 25 with the return games taking place exactly one week later.

The 2022/23 Carabao Cup final will be played on Sunday, February 26 at Wembley Stadium.

The kickoff time for the final is yet to be confirmed but last year’s showpiece, when Liverpool beat Chelsea on penalties, started at 16:30 GMT.

The Carabao Cup semifinal draw took place on Wednesday January 11, following the two quarterfinal ties taking place that evening.

Southampton stunned Manchester City with a 2-0 victory at St. Mary’s and Nottingham Forest prevailed on penalties against Wolves.
