The NFL heads to the Grand Canyon State for the grandaddy of ’em all.
Super Bowl 57 will be played in Arizona, another warm-weather location. If the last two Super Bowls played at State Farm Stadium are any indicator, then this year’s edition should be a barnburner.
In 2008, the Giants ended the Patriots’ undefeated season in the then-University of Phoenix Stadium, featuring David Tyree’s helmet catch in one of greatest Super Bowls ever played. In 2015, the Seahawks and Marshawn Lynch were etched into Super Bowl history, when Malcolm Butler sealed the Patriots’ Super Bowl 49 win at the goal line.

Now, the renamed State Farm Stadium once again gets a nod to host the biggest game of the year. Arizona gets its fourth Super Bowl and third in Glendale come February.
Here’s what to know about the Super Bowl location this year:
Where is the Super Bowl this year?
Super Bowl 57 will be played in State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
Formerly known as the University of Phoenix Stadium — after the online college, not an actual university stadium — this will be the third time that a Super Bowl will be played at the venue.
Super Bowl 49 (Seahawks vs. Patriots, 2015) and Super Bowl 42 (Giants vs. Patriots, 2008) were the two previous Super Bowls to be played at the stadium. So, if the trend continues, then we should be in for a classic matchup come Sunday, Feb. 12.
Future Super Bowl locations

|2025||Caesars Superdome (New Orleans, La.)|
Super Bowl 58, set to take place in February 2024, will be hosted in Allegiant Stadium, home of the Raiders. Super Bowl 59 in 2025 will head to New Orleans, which will be the eighth time
The location for Super Bowl 60 has yet to be determined, but Levi’s Stadium (Santa Clara, Calif.) has been a rumored location for the event.
Super Bowl 2024: Las Vegas
Allegiant Stadium plays home to the Super Bowl in 2024, the first time that the Raiders’ new stadium (opened in 2020) will host the big game.
Allegiant Stadium, an indoor field, can house upwards of 71,000 people for football. It’s unclear how that number may expand once the festivities hit “Sin City.”
Super Bowl 2025: New Orleans
The Caesars Superdome — formerly known as the Louisiana Superdome and the Mercedes-Benz Superdome — hosts Super Bowl 59 in 2025. It will be a record for a venue, with the dome housing the Super Bowl for the eighth time.
Overall, it will be the 11th time that New Orleans hosts the Super Bowl, with the first three Super Bowls in NOLA being played at Tulane Stadium, home of the Green Wave college football team.
