The Vancouver Canucks have traded Bo Horvat to the New York Islanders in exchange for Anthony Beauvillier, Aatu Raty and a top 12 protected first-round pick.
A beloved figure throughout his Canucks career, Horvat played 621 career NHL with the Canucks, scoring 201 goals and dishing out 219 assists. He was selected by Vancouver ninth overall in the 2013 NHL draft.
Horvat was named the team’s captain before the 2019-20 season and was the first player to wear the ‘C’ since Henrik Sedin retired in 2018.
