For the second consecutive year, ESPN is home to the NHL All-Star Game. 

The platform is broadcasting both the 2023 NHL All-Star Skills competition and the All-Star Game this weekend down in South Florida.

The league’s brightest stars are going to take center stage. Players like Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby, Nathan MacKinnon and Alex Ovechkin have become regulars at the All-Star game.

However, there are a number of new faces, including young up-and-comers like Jason Robertson, Adam Fox and Tage Thompson.

How to live stream the NHL All-Star Game and Skills competition

ESPN and ABC are broadcasting the 2023 All-Star Weekend.

Viewers will be able to stream national broadcasts on ESPN’s website and app as well as fuboTV (which offers a free trail) and other streaming services below.

How to watch NHL All-Star Weekend for free without cable 

Fans looking to stream the events for free that do not have cable can use a streaming site like fuboTV, Hulu Plus Live TV and YouTube TV. All offer free trials. 

While fans can watch the events on ESPN or ABC, watching them on or in the ESPN app requires you to sign in to your TV provider.

How to watch the 2023 NHL All-Star Weekend on TV

ESPN and its platforms will be the home of the 2023 NHL All-Star Weekend.

ESPN will air the Skills Competition on Friday night and the All-Star Game will be on ABC the next day. 

What time is the 2023 NHL All-Star Skills competition?

  • Time: 7 p.m. ET

The NHL All-Star Skills competition kicks off the weekend on Friday at 7 p.m. ET. 

The event, which has seven different challenges throughout the night, is expected to run for three hours. 

What time is the 2023 NHL All-Star Game?

  • Date: Saturday, Feb. 4
  • Time: 3 p.m. ET

For the seventh year, the NHL does not technically have a single All-Star Game. Instead, it’s a 3-on-3, single-elimination tournament featuring four teams. 

There will be two semifinal games before a final game played to determine the All-Star winner. 

The Central Division faces off against the Pacific Division in the first semifinal. It will be followed by the Metropolitan vs. Atlantic teams. 

The winners of those two games play in the championship.
