Ryan O’Reilly and and Pavel Buchnevich will return to the St. Lous Blues lineup for Saturday’s game against the Arizona Coyotes, head coach Craig Berube confirms.
O’Reilly has been sidelined for 14 games with a broken left foot that he sustained back on Dec. 31. The 32-year-old has 10 goals and 16 points in 37 games and is another candidate to be traded by St. Louis prior to the NHL trade deadline.
“There’s a lot of speculation, a lot of (trade) rumours, but honestly, I pay no attention to that,” O’Reilly told reporters after practice Friday. “My focus is here. That’s stuff that we talked about this morning is we’re here, we’re trying to get back in the [playoff race]. Let’s control what we can control, and that’s preparing for Saturday’s game and that’s kind of where it’s at right now. That’s what it is.”
Barbashev has missed the last four games with an ankle infection and has 15 goals and 38 points. Both players were skating on the top line with Brandon Saad at morning skate.
