Dallas defenceman Colin Miller was assessed a $5,000 fine Tuesday for elbowing Vancouver’s Nils Aman.
The incident occurred during the third period of the Canucks’ win over the Stars on Monday night. No penalty was called on the play.
The fine is the maximum allowable amount under the CBA. The funds will go to the players’ emergency assistance fund.
