A fifth straight Ligue 1 top scoring crown is very much in play for PSG star Kylian Mbappe, who is already at 18 goals and holding off the competition in the Golden Boot race.
Mbappe scored again in a 4-2 win over Nantes to maintain a two-goal lead over Canadian Jonathan David of LOSC Lille, who also netted in a 1-1 draw against Lens.
AS Monaco Wissam Ben Yedder has continued his fine scoring form with two more goals in a four-minute span during a wild 2-2 draw at Troyes, catching David on 16 goals.

Dropping down slightly in the charts in recent weeks is one-time leading scorer Folarin Balogun, the Arsenal loanee making his mark with impressive Stade de Reims. But his scoring pace has slowed down with just one goal in his last five league matches.
Mbappe is one of three PSG goal scorers in the top 10 with superstars Neymar and Lionel Messi also contributing to making PSG the highest scoring team in Ligue 1 (66 goals in 26 matches).

Below are the top scorers in each season of Ligue 1 action dating back to the year 2000.
Kylian Mbappe has won the top goalscorer award every single season since 2018/19, and he is charging up the all-time Ligue 1 goalscoring list. His 148 career Ligue 1 goals at the turn of the calendar year from 2022 to 2023 saw him sit 21st all-time despite his youthful age of 23 years old.
