Will the Bears trade the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft? Chicago ‘likely’ to move top selection, report says

The Bears are … on clock, but maybe not for much longer.

With Justin Fields seemingly entrenched as the team’s starting quarterback, rumors have circulated about Chicago trading out of the top spot in a deal with a quarterback-needy team. “There’s a lot of interest in some high-, high-profile quarterbacks, more so than we’ve seen in previous years. So you do have teams scrambling to get up to No. 1. I would expect those (talks) to really, really heat up over the next couple of weeks here. Who could trade for the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft?

If the Bears do trade down, they won’t have to go far. The Texans (No. 2) and Colts (No. 4) are rumored to be interested in moving up for the top selection, likely for Young.
