Report: Bears signing LB Tremaine Edmunds to four-year, $72M contract

The Chicago Bears are signing former Buffalo Bills linebacker Tremaine Edmunds to a four-year, $72-million contract with $50 million guaranteed, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

It’s the biggest four-year contract for an inside linebacker in the NFL.

Edmunds had 66 tackles in 13 regular-season games this past season, adding 14 more in two playoff games. He was drafted in the first round, 16th overall, by the Bills in 2018, after three years at Virginia Tech.

More to come.
