Dolphins vs. Chiefs AFC wild card TD scorer prop picks: Can Tyreek Hill find end zone in return to KC?

Weather could impact Saturday’s AFC wild card game at Arrowhead Stadium, and we’ll keep that in mind when identifying the best Dolphins vs. Chiefs TD scorer prop picks.

Can Tyreek Hill find the end zone in this homecoming game against his former team? Will Travis Kelce hit pay dirt for the first time since Week 12? You’ve got questions, and we’ve got answers.

Let’s get to it!

Touchdown scorer odds & props for Dolphins vs. Chiefs

These are our top Miami vs. KC touchdown scorer prop picks:

  • De’Von Achane ATTD scorer ()
  • Rashee Rice anytime TD scorer ()
  • Tyreek Hill ATTD scorer ()
  • Isiah Pacheco anytime TD scorer ()

We’re passing on Kelce here, as Kansas City’s vaunted tight end hasn’t done much of anything on the field in recent weeks. His odds are short, too, and there’s more value in betting on Rice to have a TD catch.

De’Von Achane () and/or Raheem Mostert () TD scorer odds

There are several injuries to monitor heading into Saturday’s game. Raheem Mostert (knee/ankle) missed his second straight game Sunday against the Bills. Achane rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown in his place against Buffalo. He scored a TD in both games Mostert missed against good defenses in Buffalo and Baltimore.

Achane rushed for 800 yards on the season after dealing with injuries of his own. Despite missing six games, Achane’s scored 11 touchdowns this season (eight rushing, three receiving). The rookie phenom from Texas A&M averages a whopping 7.3 yards per carry.

Mostert will most likely play on Saturday. He reportedly pushed to play against the Bills, and there is optimism about him suiting up against the Chiefs.

Keep an eye on his status as we get closer to kickoff. Mostert tied for the league-high in TDs with 21 this season. He’s a threat to score an anytime TD every week, and you might want to bet both backs if Mostert’s back to full strength.

Rashee Rice ATTD scorer prop odds ()

Rice cut into Kelce’s targets with 102 in the regular season. While Patrick Mahomes has thrown TDs to 11 different players, it’s Rice who leads the Chiefs with seven TD catches.

There’s some concern not about the frigid weather conditions that are expected, but heavy winds that could affect the passing game.

We’ll fire on Rice anyway, as he’s the most reliable WR Mahomes has at his disposal. Rice (hamstring) is back at practice this week after missing the meaningless season finale against the Chargers.

Tyreek Hill TD scorer odds ()

Hill had another monster season for Miami with a league-best 1,799 receiving yards and 13 TD catches (tied with Mike Evans). Hill got the baker’s dozen in last week’s 21-14 loss to the Bills.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Miami find different ways to get him the ball if wind and weather dictates on Saturday. He does have six rushing carries this year.

Hill had 56 TD catches and five rushing touchdowns in six years with the Chiefs prior to joining the Dolphins. You know the NFL’s most dynamic receiver will be amped to find the end zone against his former mates.

Added incentive? Hill had eight grabs for 62 yards in Kansas City’s 21-14 win over Miami in Germany, but Cedrick Wilson Jr. had the only TD catch for the Dolphins.

Isiah Pacheco ATTD scorer ()

We’ll round out our top TD scorer picks with Pacheco, who’s a safer selection in inclement weather. Rice, who has scored TDs in three of his last four games, leads the Chiefs in rushing yards (935) and total TDs (nine).
