What channel is Lions vs. Buccaneers on today? Time, TV schedule for NFL playoff divisional game

The Lions are looking to keep their playoff dreams alive when they host the Buccaneers in a divisional playoff game Sunday.

Detroit won a playoff game for the first time in 32 years with a 24-23 victory over the Rams last Sunday. Jared Goff was 22 of 27 for 277 yards with a touchdown against his former team.

The third-seeded Lions (13-5) ended a nine-game postseason losing streak — the longest in NFL history that dated to a victory over Dallas on Jan. 5, 1992. Detroit is playing two home postseason games for the first time in franchise history.

The Lions beat Tampa Bay 20-6 in Week 6. Detroit limited the Buccaneers to 251 yards of total offense and 46 yards rushing. Tampa Bay was just 2-of-12 converting on third down. Meanwhile, Detroit had 380 yards of offense.

The Buccaneers could struggle to run again against Detroit, which had the league’s No. 2-ranked run defense in the regular season.

Fourth-seeded Tampa Bay beat the fifth-seeded Eagles 32-9 in the wild-card round. Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield, who is dealing with a rib injury, was 22 of 36 for 337 yards and three touchdowns in his first playoff game since 2020.

The Buccaneers scored on each of their first four drives, including three field goals. Tampa Bay out-gained Philadelphia 426-276 — the largest yardage differential in a playoff game in franchise history.

Tampa Bay has one of the best wideouts in the NFL with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, who each had more than 1,000 yards receiving in the regular season.
