FIBA AfroBasket 2025 Qualifiers schedule: Dates, times and how to watch qualification games

The first window of play at the FIBA AfroBasket Qualifiers 2025 begins with a three-day slate of games on February 23.

Twelve teams across Groups B, D and E will compete in the initial window. The other eight teams comprising Group A and C will have to wait until the second window, slated for November.

Of the 20 nations competing, 16 will qualify for the FIBA AfroBasket 2025. To qualify, the journey begins on Friday.

FIBA AfroBasket 2025 Qualifiers Schedule

Teams in Groups B, D and E will compete in a round-robin style tournament from Feb. 23 to Feb. 25, as they each play three games in three days. Egypt and Tunisia are the two host countries. 

After the conclusion of all three windows, each team will have played the other teams in their group a total of two times.

The first window of games for the FIBA AfroBasket 2025 Qualifiers begins on Friday, Feb. 23 and runs through Sunday, February 25. 

A total of twelve teams accounting for Groups B, D and E will compete in a round-robin format, each playing three games in three days.
