After beginning its run towards the FIBA AmeriCup 2025 with a 100-79 home win over Cuba, Team USA concludes its initial window at the FIBA AmeriCup 2025 Qualifiers with a trip to Havana.

Team USA will look to close its first window on a high note, before reuniting for games against Puerto Rico and the Bahamas in the second window come November.

The Americans are unveiling a new-look roster compared to the group that took home the Bronze Medal at the FIBA AmeriCup 2022. Elfrid Payton and Jordan Bell are among the former NBA players headlining the 12-man squad.

How to watch USA at Cuba at the FIBA AmeriCup 2025 Qualifiers

The Americans will play their second game in the opening window at the FIBA AmeriCup 2025 Qualifiers against Cuba, too. The game is slated to begin at 5:10 p.m. ET on Sunday, February 25, from Coliseo de la Ciudad Deportiva in Havana, Cuba.

When are the FIBA AmeriCup 2025 Qualifiers?

The FIBA AmeriCup 2025 Qualifiers are split into three separate windows of scheduling, with each window containing a total of 16 games. 

The initial window is set to commence on Thursday, February 22 and will conclude on Monday, February 26. The ensuing two windows are slated for November and next February. 

Teams representing sixteen nations are split amongst four groups; they will compete in a round-robin style of competition, playing each team in their respective group twice for a total of six games. At the conclusion of qualifying, the three highest-ranked teams in each group will advance to the FIBA AmeriCup 2025.
