Before March Madness officially begins, college basketball fans can enjoy a little bit of “Arch Madness.”

An automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament will be up for grabs when a dozen teams arrive in St. Louis for the 2024 Missouri Valley Conference basketball tournament. Indiana State earned the MVC’s No. 1 seed in the regular season behind stellar play from Robbie Avila, who has been called “College Jokic” because of his Nikola Jokic-like offensive package.

Drake will be Indiana State’s top challenger after finishing just one game behind the Sycamores in the MVC standings. Other contenders include Bradley, Belmont and Northern Iowa.
