WCC tournament bracket: Full TV schedule, scores, results for 2024 West Coast Conference basketball championship

Saint Mary’s is the the No. 1 seed in the WCC Basketball Championship for the second straight year after winning the regular-season conference title.

The Gaels are led by guard Alex Ducas, who has 270 career 3-pointers, 18 shy of Matthew Dellavedova’s program record.

Gonzaga is the No. 2 seed after ending the regular season on an eight-game winning streak. The Bulldogs’ streak of 24 straight NCAA Tournament berths was thought to be in jeopardy, but Gonzaga now has a chance of receiving an at-large bid if necessary.

San Francisco is the No. 3 seed followed by Santa Clara as the No. 4 seed. After being picked to finish in ninth place in the WCC preseason coaches poll, San Diego earned the No. 5 seed.

The Toreros will play the winner of Thursday’s matchup between No. 8 seed Pepperdine and No. 9 Pacific in the second round on Friday. The other second-round contest on Friday will be between the No. 6 seed Portland and No. 7 seed LMU. 
Portland, LMU and Pepperdine each finished the regular season with a Conference record of 5-11 and tied for sixth in the standings.

Santa Clara will play the winner of San Diego and Pepperdine/Pacific, while San Francisco will battle the winner of Friday’s Portland-LMU contest in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

The WCC Championship will be held from March 7-12 at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
