Where to watch Flyers vs. Maple Leafs today: Live stream, TV channel, time for Thursday NHL game

It’s Hockey Night on ESPN+ this Thursday featuring a matchup between the Flyers and the Maple Leafs.

This is the second meeting between these two teams this season. The Maple Leafs walked away with a 4-3 overtime victory the last time these two faced off. Auston Matthews finished with a natural hat trick during that game, scoring three goals in the second period. William Nylander scored a goal in early overtime to seal the victory.

The Maple Leafs are 37-19-8 with 82 points this season. They stand in third place in the Atlantic Division, holding onto the final playoff spot. They are eight points above the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Flyers have won three of their last five games. They are also in third place, but in the Metropolitan Division. Behind the New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes, the Flyers have 76 points on the season, just four points above the New York Islanders.

Travis Konecny leads the Flyers in scoring with a team-leading 56 points and 27 goals. Defenseman Travis Sanheim leads the team with 30 assists on the season.

Matthews is the guy to watch in this game, however. He’s leading the NHL in goals (54) by a whopping eight-goal margin. He and Nylander are both top-10 in skaters for points this season.

Which Eastern Conference juggernaut will come out the other side victorious?
