Knicks vs. Warriors prediction, player props, best bets against the spread and moneyline

The Knicks travel to the Bay Area to visit the Warriors on Monday night (10 p.m. ET), with New York trying to remain a top-four seed in the East and Golden State looking to move out of Play-In positioning. Today we will preview this game from a betting standpoint, detailing the odds, stats and trends to know, and our best bets, top props and final score prediction.

The Warriors, who have battled injuries and issues all season, enter the week with something that feels unprecedented for them: a clean injury report. Chris Paul’s return from his fractured hand has been uneventful, Andrew Wiggins has been present and even Draymond Green appears focused on the home stretch.

New York’s report isn’t nearly as promising. The Knicks list recently returned x-factor OG Anunoby as day-to-day with an elbow injury, and the front court duo of Julius Randle (shoulder) and Mitch Robinson (ankle) remain sidelined from their long-term afflictions.

MORE: OG Anunoby has emerged as New York’s biggest x-factor

The Villanova trio of All-Star Jalen Brunson, sharpshooter Donte DiVincenzo and Swiss Army knife Josh Hart has done its best to keep this team in home-court seeding, but they need OG active to have a real shot against the powerhouses of the Association.

Can the Brunson Burner and company get hot enough to scorch the Warriors at Chase Center? Or, will Steph Curry and the Dubs hold court and win their 16th game since Feb. 1? Let’s dive into the odds for this interconference clash, and get you the best BetMGM bets and top props so you can start your week with some cash.

Knicks vs. Warriors prediction, player props, best bets against the spread and moneyline

All odds and props are from BetMGM, an authorized gaming operator of the NBA.

  • ATS: Warriors -5.5 (-105) | Knicks +5.5 (-115)
  • Moneyline: Warriors -225 | Knicks +180
  • Over/under: O 211.5 (-105) | U 211.5 (-115)

The sportsbooks recognize the power of OG. New York has gone just 5-13 ATS over its past 18 games, and 6-12 ATS over its past 18 without Anunoby. Golden State, meanwhile, has gone 17-8 in non-conference games this season (second-best in the NBA).

Where the UNDIES at!? The UNDER has hit in the past five Knicks games, as well as 10 of the past 13 Golden State games. And yet, as of 10:45 a.m. ET on Monday, 83 percent of over/under bettors are on the OVER.

Knicks vs. Warriors predictions, best bets

The Knicks have taken the hits from the injury bug in stride, but they clearly play better with OG Anunoby on the floor. They’re 15-2 with him since he became a Knickerbocker, and 8-11 without him. Everything works more fluidly with him on the court — Tom Thibodeau’s squad gets cleaner looks, the offense flows better and the team defense and rebounding are noticeably improved.

Golden State at home with any advantage at this time of year is dangerous. Steve Kerr’s squad has gone 14-6 ATS over its past 20 games, Steph Curry continues to shoot lights out, everyone’s healthy(ish), and the Dubs have been getting good physical contributions from Jonathan Kuminga and Trayce Jackson-Davis. This is a bad situation for New York.

The biggest factor in this one could be willpower. Golden State leads the NBA in total rebounds, so New York might not be able to rely on sheer athleticism, hustle and grind like it so often does for second-chance points. And if Jalen Brunson turns the ball over six times like he did on Saturday against the Kings, the Knicks will be very fortunate to eke out with another win (they somehow beat Sac-town 98-91 in that one, with the Kings shooting just 35 percent).

In the Warriors’ six games since getting destroyed by the Celtics a couple weeks ago, they have averaged 116.5 points per game. In that same stretch, New York has averaged just 98.6 PPG. The stats and trends are all telling you what to do — the rest is up to you.

FINAL SCORE PREDICTION: Warriors 108, Knicks 101 — The Warriors win (-105) and cover (-5.5), and the score finishes UNDER the projected total (211.5)

Knicks vs. Warriors top player prop bet

Donte DiVincenzo three-pointers — OVER 3.5 (-120)

We expect the Knicks to be playing from behind most of the night, so we like DiVincenzo to be firing early and often. Did you know this dude is third in the NBA in made threes!? Well, now you know. With Julius Randle and Mitch Robinson out and OG Anunoby questionable, you can feel safe with your DD. DiVincenzo averaged 4.5 treys during Anunoby’s 18-game absence from late January through mid-March.
