Caitlin Clark live stats: Iowa vs. West Virginia score, updates, highlights from 2024 March Madness Round 2 game

Hawkeye fans, it’s time to say goodbye to Caitlin Clark.

Iowa seniors will play their final game in Iowa City Monday night against West Virginia with the Sweet 16 on the line.

No. 1 Iowa advanced through the first round of March Madness with a 91-65 win over Holy Cross, while No. 8 WVU came back to take down No. 9 Princeton 63-53. It’s a tough feat to defeat the Hawkeyes at home, but that’s coach Mark Kellogg’s goal — be the ones to send them and Clark packing

Fans know Clark, the NCAA all-time leading scorer, but should keep an eye on the Mountaineers’ JJ Quinerly. The junior leads her team with 19.9 points per game and earned Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.

It should be a true test for Iowa, as West Virginia won’t go home without a fight.
