Here is John Sterling’s call of Juan Soto’s first Yankees home run

It only took until the third game of the season before fans got the pleasure of hearing John Sterling’s eccentric home run call for the New York Yankees star outfielder.

Soto came through in the clutch with a vital solo home run in the top of the seventh inning against the Houston Astros on Saturday night, sending a 0-1 pitch into the Crawford Boxes and giving the Bronx Bombers a 4-3 lead.

Sterling, the longtime Yankees play-by-play radio announcer, is known for his eccentric, pun-filled home run calls.

Soto’s was no different. And it was miraculous.

Never change, John Sterling.
