What time is Tim Tszyu vs. Sebastian Fundora today? TV channel, schedule, main card for 2024 boxing fight

Tim Tszyu was preparing to face veteran Keith Thurman. After “One Time” pulled out of the fight due to injury, Tszyu must now shift his game plan to match the skills of Sebastian Fundora.

The fight between Tszyu and Fundora will be for the former’s WBO super welterweight title and the vacant WBC belt. It will be the main event for Premier Boxing Champions’ first PPV under its new Amazon Prime deal.

Tszyu viciously beat three former world champions and contenders in 2023. The former interim WBO super welterweight champion beat former champion Brian Mendoza last time out to reach full-time status. He has a commanding presence in the ring, and the Aussie looks to bring his viciousness to America.

An active and dangerous fighter, Tsyzu is ready to adapt to his current situation and conquer the giant in Fundora.

“There was no hesitation, it was straight away, a 10-second thing,” Tszyu said. “Yes, it made me pissed off but the focus shifts and the show goes on, simple. You’ve got to be able to take on all comers. He’s (Fundora) tricky, he’s tall but whatever, I’m confident in victory by any means anyway.”

Fundora was going to fight Serhii Bohachuk for the WBC title before getting the call to face Tszyu. “The Towering Inferno,” standing at 6-5, is coming off a loss against Mendoza, but the former interim champion is ready to make the most of the opportunity presented to him.

The Sporting News will provide all you need to know about the fight, from time, channel, and card.
