What channel is the NCAA championship on? TV schedule, time for 2024 college basketball title game

Just two teams are left standing at the 2024 NCAA Tournament: UConn and Purdue.

And while there are no shortage of intriguing matchups, the best one is in the middle between Zach Edey and Donovan Clingan.

Edey, Purdue’s 7-foot-4 center, recently earned AP Player of the Year honors for the second consecutive season, and for good reason. He is averaging 24.9 points and 12.2 rebounds per game, the most and third-most in the nation, respectively.

And as the Boilermakers continue their redemption arc — advancing to the national title game a year after losing to No. 16 seed Farleigh Dickinson — Edey has led the way. His dominant NCAA Tournament includes a 40-point, 16-rebound performance in the Elite Eight, as well as a 30-point, 21-rebound outing in the Round of 64 to squash any notion of another early upset.

But Edey has not faced anyone like Clignan, the Huskies’ 7-foot-2 do-everything center. The sophomore averaged 13.1 points and 7.4 rebounds this season, along with 2.5 blocks. And his fingerprints have been all over UConn’s dominant NCAA Tournament run: He is averaging a whopping 4.5 blocks across the last four games.

As the ball tips on Monday night, all eyes will be on Clingan and Edey, and they may very well stay there. The Sporting News has you covered with everything that you need to know in order to tune in to the showdown.
