Cody Whitehair: Raiders Twitter reacts to reported signing of veteran OL

The Las Vegas Raiders reportedly made a much-needed addition to their offensive line on Monday, with the team signing former Chicago Bear and veteran interior offensive lineman, Cody Whitehair, in free agency.

The eight-year NFL veteran, who has one Pro Bowl under his belt, has spent the majority of his time in the league as a center. However, he’s spent the last three seasons as a left guard.

Of course, the Raiders don’t need a center with Andre James back, so Whitehair will factor into the competition at guard, whether that be on the left or right side. Which side exactly will depend upon what Las Vegas wants to do with Dylan Parham, who played left guard in 2023.

Based on who the Raiders have on their roster, Whitehair should be considered the favorite to land one of the two starting guard spots, although nobody is going to say he’s written in stone quite yet.
