Rob Gronkowski’s first pitch at Red Sox game lands nowhere near the plate for an obvious reason

The Boston Red Sox are hosting the Cleveland Guardians for the first of four games at Fenway Park on Monday, which is a holiday in Massachusetts.

Before the game, former New England Patriots tight end and future Hall of Famer Rob Gronkowski threw out the ceremonial first pitch. However, it wasn’t much of a pitch, as he delivered his famous spike off the mound.

Gronkowski last threw out the first pitch for the Red Sox in 2019 which came during his first retirement.
