What is Chop Robinson’s real name?

Robinson’s official name is Demeioun Robinson, but he’s been known as Chop since he was born.

He was 14 pounds at birth, which prompted his mother to nickname him “Pork Chop.” That name stuck with him for a while, but Robinson said he needed to change it slightly.

“I couldn’t have people calling me Pork Chop, so I just kept the Chop,” Robinson said.

That’s how “Chop Robinson” was born — all because he was a big baby. It’s also not the only nickname he received, though it was the only one publicly known until recently.

His other nickname? Plump, and it’s strictly for family. Once again, it dates back to his birth.
