Where to watch Inter Miami vs New England Revolution live stream, TV channel, lineups, prediction for MLS match

Following back-to-back wins in MLS action, Inter Miami hits the road this weekend to face the Eastern Conference cellar-dwellers.

Inter Miami is set to take on the New England Revolution on Saturday, April 27 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. The match is set to have MLS No. 1 broadcasting crew of Jake Zivin (play-by-play) and Taylor Twellman (analysis) on the call.

Lionel Messi scored one goal from open play and a penalty kick last week in Inter Miami’s 3-1 win over rivals Nashville, and coach Gerardo Martino’s side will be really expecting to score goals against the Revolution. Veteran coach Caleb Porter’s side have gotten off to a terrible start, with just four points from their first eight games and only five goals scored. Designated Player Carles Gil has three goals this season but no assists, and 19-year-old striker prospect Esmir Bajraktarevic has no goals in seven games.

Luis Suarez on the other side has been a revelation since coming to MLS. He’s already scored six goals and recorded four assists in nine games and his partnership up top with Messi is one to watch.

Inter Miami vs New England lineups, team news

New England midfielder Noel Buck was withdrawn just before halftime in the loss to Toronto last weekend, and while his quad injury is mild according to head coach Caleb Porter, he could be held out of this game, replaced by Canadian international Mark-Anthony Kaye.

American international DeJuan Jones is out for a few weeks with a hamstring injury, while fellow full-backs Peyton Miller and Brandon Bye are also shelved for another few weeks. Winger Dylan Borrero is out for another month with a knee issue, as is Tommy McNamara with a hamstring problem.

The club traded for former Seattle Sounders center-back Xavier Arreaga this past week, and he could slot straight into the starting lineup, with Henry Kessler the most likely to drop out. They’re already missing offseason signing Jonathan Mensah at the position thanks to a hamstring injury.

New England projected starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Ravas (GK) — Lima, Farrell, Arreaga, Spaulding — Kaye, Polster — Bajraktarevic, C. Gil, N. Gil — Vrioni.

Inter Miami have an incredibly lengthy injury list, which continues to threaten the squad’s place at the top of the Eastern Conference. The latest to succumb to injury is Diego Gomez, who went down with an ankle injury in the win over Nashville last time out, sidelined for 4-6 weeks which is better than the dreaded Achilles tear which was first feared.

He joins the likes of hamstring quartet Serhiy KryvstovRobert Taylor, Jordi Alba and Leo Campana on the shelf, while Federico Redondo needs another month or so to recover from his knee injury.

New midfield signing Matias Rojas may be available for selection in this match, and he could potentially fill in for Gomez on the wing opposite Messi, or Brazilian winger Leo Afonso could be given the start after assisting a goal off the bench against Nashville in place of Ruiz.

Inter Miami projected starting lineup (4-3-3): Callender (GK) — Weigandt, Aviles, Freire, Negri — Gressel, Busquets, D. Ruiz — Messi, Suarez, Afonso.
