Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich lineups, starting 11, team news: Dier, Guerreiro add to Tuchel’s defensive headache

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid ended last weekend’s UEFA Champions League semifinal first leg as they started it. Dead level.

Vinicius Junior scored twice, latterly from the penalty spot to equalise after Leroy Sane’s blistering strike a Harry Kane’s own spot-kick had turned the game on its head early in the second half.

Carlo Ancelotti and Thomas Tuchel experienced contrasting weekends domestically. Madrid were crowned LaLiga champions for the 36th time in their history after beating Cadiz and seeing Barcelona go down to defeat at Girona.

Bayern’s Bundesliga misery continued as they lost at Stuttgart, the title having already gone to a relentless Bayer Leverkusen. It was a result that further underlined how their entire season hinges on how events unfold at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.

The Sporting News has all the latest team news ahead of Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich, along with confirmed starting lineups.
