Kansas Quarterback Jalon Daniels Among ESPN’s Top NFL QB Prospects for 2025

If Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels is healthy, he’s as good as anyone at his position in college football.

That means if an NFL teams needs a quarterback in 2025 and Daniels has put together an entire season without getting hurt, he might find out he’s played himself into the first round of the NFL Draft.

ESPN listed Daniels among its “best of the rest” in its ranking of 2025 NFL quarterback prospects.

From ESPN: “Daniels had a three-game stretch last season in which he threw for 705 yards and five touchdowns in the Jayhawks’ high-octane offense. Those were the only three games he played, as he missed the final nine contests with a back injury. Injuries have been an issue, as he has missed 14 games in the past two seasons.”

Daniels completed over 74 percent of his passes in 2023 and was an All-Big 12 pick in 2022 despite missing four games due to injury.

Kansas opens the season on Aug. 29 at home against Lindenwood.
