What time is the College World Series on tonight? Channel, TV schedule for Game 1 of Tennessee vs. Texas A&M CWS finals

For the third time in the last four years, the College World Series finals is an all-SEC showdown.

No. 1 Tennessee and No. 3 Texas A&M will meet in Game 1 of the CWS finals Saturday night in Omaha.

While the SEC has dominated the event in recent history, this marks rather unprecedented territory for both the Volunteers and the Aggies.

Texas A&M is set to play in its first CWS final in the program’s 130-year history despite seven previous CWS appearances. Tennessee finished as the CWS runner-up back in 1951. Since then, five prior CWS appearances — including in two of the previous three seasons — had brought futility.

But now, one program will win the national championship for the first time. The Sporting News has you covered with everything that you need to know for Game 1 of the best-of-three series, including the start time Saturday.
