Bronny James won’t have much time away from the spotlight after being selected No. 55 overall by the Lakers in the 2024 NBA Draft.

The rookie will get straight to work, playing for Los Angeles in the California Classic Summer League that tips off on Saturday, July 6 in San Francisco.

James has already secured a “multiyear guaranteed” standard NBA contract to make LA’s official roster. The Lakers revealed days after the draft that he will wear No. 9.
